Understandably, Chris is now a passionate advocate for the URBN fitness program and loves helping people take their first steps along the same journey as he has traveled at this gym. Little did he know that a long term commitment to the URBN Fitness way of life would see him attain sub 10 percent body fat, gain around 20lbs of muscle, and discover abilities he would never have imagined like handstand walking and ring muscle ups.

When Chris first walked into URBN Fitness(then Crossfit 615), the last thing you would have imagined was that just a few years later, he would be coaching! Tired of the negative health impact of spending 200 or more days a year on the tour bus with Irish Folk band, Rend Collective, he came through the doors with the hopes of just losing a few pounds and feeling a little better about himself. Snow currently serves as a Field Operations Manager with the Nashville Recovery Center supporting residents working through active addiction and the recovery process.

While transitioning away from a career in professional sports, unique health circumstances led Snow to explore a more thorough investigation into overall health and wellness. Once settled into a role with the Nashville Predators, she picked up CrossFit and found an amazing fitness community in Nashville.

Upon graduation she moved to Tampa Bay, Florida, and worked for the Tampa Bay Rays for three years before moving to Music City. After helping the Lady Bengals to the Big Sky Outdoor Track and Field Championship, she had knee surgery and transferred to the University of Wyoming where she accelerated her studies to graduate early. While initially recruited for her jumping abilities, she quickly began training as a heptathlete and learned many new events and training practices. After being named Wyoming's Miss Track and Field her senior year, she received a track and field scholarship to Idaho State University. Growing up, she competed as a multiple sport athlete while working on a large ranch.

Snow grew up in rural Wyoming and had always been involved in athletic endeavors. “I coach so that I can motivate and encourage other individuals like me to find out what they are truly made of deep down so that we can grow stronger together from the inside out.” QualificationsĬrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer (2016)ĬrossFit Level 2 Certified Trainer (2017)ĬrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Certification (2017) Jessie enjoys watching the camaraderie and friendships that develop in our gym.
