The gaming world finally learned what those of us who have played Titanfall 2 since launch had known all along, that it is one of the very best games the genre has ever given us, with graphics and mechanics that hold up exceptionally even today. While it’s done well for itself by surviving this long on the back of its small but dedicated community and Origin Access/EA Play, it was not until 2020 and the Steam release that it finally caught the worlds attention.
Titanfall 2 is a true treasure of the sci-fi shooter genre, and yet due to its launch window falling between one of the best Battlefields (Battlefield One) in recent memory and a very similar Call of Duty entry (Infinite Warfare), it struggled to garner a large enough player base to set the world on fire.

Much to the disappointment of the Titianfall community, this final update was relatively lacklustre, with only six new Elite Warpaints being made for purchase, in addition to two new Christmas-themed Banners and miscellaneous balance changes. Respawn Entertainment are certainly active in the Titanfall Universe due to the continual success of Apex Legends however, Titanfall 2 has received no content updates since December 2017, which saw the release of Operation Endeavour.
In Titanfall 2, players engage in frantic pvp and pve combat either on foot or as mighty titans, which can quickly exterminate their opponents with powerful abilities. Windjammers 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Switch.Titianfall 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Respawn Entertainment (Apex Legends) and published by Electronic Arts. Games like World War Z have added cross-play well after their release, so it’s not going to be out of the unusual if Windjammers 2 eventually gets it too.

While this is obviously disappointing for those who’ve grown accustomed to cross-play across multiple platforms, it’s worth bearing in mind that just because full cross-play isn’t in the game right this second, it doesn’t mean it never will be. Sadly for Switch owners, there’s no cross-play at all with any other platform.

To sum up: only Xbox players can play with PC players, whereas only PS4 and PS5 players can play together. PC (Steam and PC Game Pass), Xbox Series X | S Here’s a breakdown of which platforms can play with which in cross-play in Windjammers 2. To enable cross-play in Windjammers 2, go to Settings > Online Settings and then make sure Enable Crossplay is set to Yes. First off, though, you’re going to need to check that cross-play is enabled. In fact, it’s very limited, as only Xbox really has the kind of cross-play support you’d come to expect.
Unfortunately, Windjammers 2 only has partial cross-play, meaning that not every platform can play with each other. While you can easily set-up a local match or take the action online against other players, it’s a little more complicated when talking about Windjammers 2’s cross-play. Windjammers 2 is a hectic, fun 1v1 competitive frisbee game that flourishes when played in multiplayer.
